True story : When the Tim Horton's near the St-Jérome Qc. Lafontaine Hall got built on the 117 one of our elders explained out how great it'll be to have coffees there during service breaks.. and even filled me in on his first visit and how accommodating the staff was to them being dressed up JW and all, you know bragging rights.

this was a major announcement for many and upsetting.
wonder where the r& f are going to be dispersed with what sacrifices in the way!.

by The Fall Guy inthanks to atlantis and his sources, we are able to examine material from the alleged "faithful slave" which is intended only for the eyes of the shepherds wolves in the congregation.. information needed for visit of circuit overseer .
all congregation accounts records covering the period since the last visit, which would include any bankbook being used and the records for any additional accounts being kept by the congregation.
(do you have excess money which should have been given to us?).

This thread reminds me of all the JW's that crapped on me over the years when I was depressed and vulnerable. I was very generous and giving with them until I became suicidal. At that point there was no help to be found other than them coming over to my house to belittle me for being an ambitious small business owner that enjoys work life. Felt like they were getting back at me for not fully doing 'Jehovah's' will and rubbing my face in it.

Emoluments. David Cay Johnston, Tony Schwartz and many others wrote about this, some as far back as the eighties covering Trump. I find it surprising that the current President has so many supporters in the Ex JW community. After all we finally woke and got wise to the cult, yet so many now latch on to and become yes men all over again.. I'm centrist by the way, believe in the merit system. Anyhow happy wishes to all. Last time I went to the ASSembly hall in Montreal summer of 2015 as a last ditch effort to possibly start up again I promptly had a panic attack as I listened to a middle aged couple being interviewed. It was truly a gut wrenching experience as I just got up and ran out before passing out. Went to bathroom to splash some cold Montreal city water on my face. I knew then I was done, the end..
Never set foot in any JW facility after that, your body is telling you something.
Let's review folks : It's a cult !
